Weaste Hotel, West Manchester

The location was ideal for us, and security was good. The room was also a decent size

Firstly, we were tad disappointed with the room it could do with some TLC however for the price it was forgivable. Secondly the bed was not comfortable, it was two single beds pushed together so was not a comfortable double as expected. Because of this the beds would move apart causing a bit of a gap. The beds themselves also were not comfortable either, especially my partners side as he had to deal with springs digging into him. Lastly, the customers in the other room were playing loud music well past 11pm and then woke us at gone 2am by shouting at each other in the hallway outside the rooms. This wouldn't have been such a big issue but there was no staff available to help with this and due to the customers sounding violent we did not feel comfortable speaking to them ourselves. I fully understand staff not being available at 2am but as they advertise check in untill 11pm i expected staff then. Overall didn't get much sleep and the little we got was very poor quality. Even when we left at 7:15am there was no staff around to speak to. Staff were helpful when we had access to them but interaction was limited. Would recommend they get a night staff member especially for the weekend to help avoid future issues because as it is i definitely cannot recommend this hotel

Nice upon entrance then you walk up carpeted stairs that need a hoover.. The room is basic Old stained carpet Unfinished walls Bathroom light didn’t work & no windows so no privacy unless you do everything in the dark.. Look out the window to a roof with someone’s belt and a pair of knickers.. We had a 2yr who removed the radiator cap and put it fully In his mouth which was a anxiety riddled experience.. We had to ask for a loo roll, ask for the boiler to be turned on so the radiator/shower worked .. We paid £41 so wasn’t expecting luxury but we was disappointed ..

Well. You can't get in the hotel without a key card, and I didn't have one before I checked in so I was stood outside in the snow waiting for someone to come and open the door for me which they eventually did. It's about an hour's walk from the city centre. Three floors and no lift. When I got to my hotel room the door was open and there were scratch marks around the door handle so it looked like the place had been raided or something. There was some weird brown marks on the ceiling?? I hope it was chocolate? The TV had no remote and there was a cable that had bare wires poking out of it. The bathroom was tiny, barely big enough for me to sit in. One of the lights didn't work above the bed. I know this sounds like I'm being picky and surely not all of this could have been wrong but I paid £150 for this. There was also I few rooms on my floor that had been booked by some young kids who were up partying all night. I wish I had taken more pictures of everything that was wrong but I wasn't sure if I was going to leave a review. And if the hotel see this, please contact me because I am not happy in the slightest

It’s just a hotel. Friendly staff, but a lot has to be done. They’re refurbishing now. Nice bed.

Transferred my stuff from one room to another without me knowing or my consent. Water didn’t work (was cold) for 3 days. But overall, not too bad. Noisy neighbors (loads of shouting at night)

Was waiting in reception for 20mins before any staff came tried call the number and noone answered, tv wasnt working at all

It was not extremley terrible but they could do much better in all aspects.

There were a number of things l didn't like. *There was a terrible smell coming from outside of the room, at night especially on the first night. *Loud noises and argument *Staff asking intrusive and personal questions upon arrival Had to ask for TP as this was not provided after the first night. Also had to ask for spoon. There was no milk in room. The cleaness is questionable, l found dirty earbuds. The setup of the toilet is so weird, very hard to sit.

Bed was horrible, had backache after sleeping in bed. There was mould on roof

the ONLY good thing about this property is that the Uber could get us to the AO arena in 16 minutes

it was insanely dirty and had definitely not been cleaned in a very long while. hairs and blood in the bathroom, stains up the bedroom walls, blood-stained mattress, electrical wires precariously hanging from the tv which didn’t work. it was more than disappointing and I won’t ever be returning.

Staff were frendly and helpful Looks a bit rough from the outside but when you go in it is different. You can tell its an old building and does look tired and old. But they are making changes and this can be seen in areas such as the bedroom. I would stay again

When we booked we were told we would have 2 single beds and 1 double but when arrived we only had 1 single bed and 1 double. Staff were rude and wouldn’t help us because it was a certain time. We had 3 people staying which they knew but only provided 2 glasses, 2 bottles of water and 2 biscuits. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. No fridge like it stated when booking and despite it saying on the sign ‘bed and breakfast’ they apparently don’t do breakfast. Shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold there was no inbetween and shower door was broken. Do not stay at this hotel.

If you think of Only fools and horses scene where they turn up at a dodgy hotel, then just imagine that and you wont be disappointed. The entire place looked and smelt disgusting. DONT STAY HERE EVER

EVERYTHING, dirt, bed bugs, noise from reception tv until 2am with the loud TV.

Room had major leak. Brang the issue up with hotel staff and they said ‘send an email’. Hotel was disgusting and very unclean. Window was broken and wouldn’t shut. Plugs were hanging out of the walls, DO NOT STAY

There wasn’t anything we liked.

The bed was broken, under the bed was thick with dust, the light in the bathroom didn’t work, the shower door didn’t close. The photos online didn’t look anything like the rooms on the hotel.

The property was well equipped with a vending machine in the hotel, a shop next door, along with also a food shop. Along with lovely reception staff

This hotel by means, is not for people who wish to enjoy there weekend away, having fun with there friends and playing any music ( 6pm onwards ). I would only stay again if I was away to relax with friends. Otherwise a lovely hotel and not far from city centre gay village. Approx 14 mins taxi journey.

This room was inhabitable, the shower was rusty , the room was filthy, there was black mould on the walls , the bedroom door was hard to close , the whole room was damp , the toilet roll was so damp because of the room it was unusable, the bathroom smelt so strong of bleach we found it hard to breathe , the “family”room was next to the entrance door so at midnight very noisy people coming back in woke the children up , stains all up the walls , mould around window , reception unmanned , no one there in the morning to check out , do not stay in this building as risk of health issues after stay

Reception and room were nice and the shower was good

No food or bar. Very noisy. The portion of the window that opened is 11 feet off the floor and unreachable. Cutlery and food remnants under the bed. Room next door came in at 1am and started a party which went on to 5am.

There is no parking facilities. The bathroom wasn't in a good condition. The television in the room were smashed. Rooms were too warm even after the windows were open. No mirror in the bathroom.

The staircase was very grand and had character but in desperate need of refurbishment

Very dated would benefit from a refurbishment. Grout in bathroom looked dirty, no night lamps beside bed.
